This large old tin stencil would have been used wool bales/crates to identify the contents within. It dates back approx 80-100 years.
Difficult to come by these days, it bears the patina of years of use. These look so good hanging on a wall. I have many in my home...just love them and the "farmhouse" effect they give. I have a variety of them and am always getting compliments on their quirkiness!!
